Most NSWHL teams are from the Halifax Regional Municipality. 

Truro and the Annapolis Valley are also represented in the league. 

However, there are other women's teams around the province that compete in tournaments and in their local area.

Antigonish -  WHAT League. "Women's Hockey After Thirty". This league has its own website at http://www.leaguelineup.com/what_league

Lunenburg - A  senior women's team plays weekly intra-squad games throughout the winter at the arena in Lunenburg. They also travel to tournaments. Contact:  sherryritcey@bwr.eastlink.ca

Tantallon – Regular weekly women's hockey at St. Margaret's Centre in Tantallon. (exit 5 on the 103, 15 minutes past Bayers Lake) beginning January 6th, 2004. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Noon-1:30 pm. Cost is only $5.00.  For more info email: smacc@accesswave.ca or phone 826-2100.

Truro area -  Recreational hockey league for ages 19 and up.  We play
